Welcome to Our New Website
Dear NCCUPA-HR Member:
Today is a very exciting day in the 40-year history of this chapter. For today, we are launching a new, and vastly improved, website. As we are in a day and age where we must take advantage of the technological tools afforded us, our Board of Directors have decided that website technology is the way to strengthen our ties with current and prospective members of NCCUPA-HR.
As we launch this new site today, I want you to be aware that this is just the beginning….Phase I, if you will. We have many new facets that will be added to the site in the next few months, and the resulting increase in communication will make it much easier for you to plan your participation in the chapter. Here is the link to the new site: http://www.nccupa-hr.org .
Our chapter has always been about providing you and your colleagues with quality programs and networking opportunities. Though we have all been hit by the financial crisis, we plan to continue to offer affordable (in some cases free!) and informative conferences and workshops as we move forward. We have always enjoyed the positive results from our program evaluations.
With the launch of the new site, we are also asking that members participate in the election of the 2010 – 2012 NCCUPA-HR Board of Directors. The election ballot will be available soon. Though many of the positions will contain the name of an incumbent, we encourage you to consider “writing in” the name of someone you feel would be a strong addition to the Board. The deadline for voting is Wednesday, March 31, 2010.
As always, we thank you for your continued support of NCCUPA-HR and we look forward to offering many exciting features on the website, and continued high-quality professional development programs.
All the Best!
Rick Nichols
